In 2022 the General Service Board of AA UK was approached by a production company who wanted to make a documentary on AA GB to mark our 75 year anniversary.
The BBC have used groundbreaking deep fake technology to preserve the anonymity of the three members they focused on.
The documentary I’m an Alcoholic: Inside Recovery aired on BBC 2 on 7th December and is available on BBC iPlayer.
